What does it mean to be a designer and entrepreneur?
When asked to create the identity for a T-shirt crowdfunding platform targeting freelance designers, I brainstormed traits that the best designers and entrepreneurs have in common. Four traits that stood out were: problem-solver, tenacious, passionate and rule-breaker. Based on these traits, I came up with 'Get Shirt Done', a bold and offbeat name that embodies the entrepreneur and designer spirit.
Empowering brand identity with attitude
I used bold primary colors, a blueprint pattern and simple icons to convey the feeling of progress and creative freedom. For designers and entrepreneurs on the platform, work will always be in progress, but Get Shirt Done will help push them to the next level.
